Linkwood 10 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

10 year old single malt from the Linkwood distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! The chap on the label is repairing a broom - the same broom which a particular character of a classic British sitcom has used for many years. It's had new handles and new heads, but it's the same broom. Just like how Linkwood used to be one distillery, then it was two distilleries, then the original distillery was closed, leaving only the new one.

Batch 7 is a release of 1,634 bottles.

On the nose expect saline, lemon, with spicy black pepper and lemongrass. The palate reinforces further spice: black pepper and chilli, then citrus fruits, oranges, limes and lemon rind. The finish is more peppery spice and some hazelnut.
